Nikola Tesla’s Incredible Machine is played on 5 reels with 3 rows each and up to 25 paylines, an Exploding Wild, Free Spin, Substitution and Reel Clone feature, as well as a Level Up system. Winning combinations trigger from left to right and all wins are calculated per payline with the stake you selected (not the total bet). Do note that only the highest paying combination will be paid out. Also, during Free Spins winning combinations trigger from both sides where only the highest win per payline from both ways is paid.
Paylines and Bets
There are 5 reels with 3 rows, with winning combinations triggering from left to right, as well as a total of 25 paylines in Nikola Tesla’s Incredible Machine. Matching symbols must be next to each other on a payline, whilst only the highest paying combination of symbols will be awarded.
The Wild symbol can substitute for any other symbol to complete a winning combination, it does however not substitute Free Spins, Scatter and Level Up symbols.
Free Spins
Should you recieve 3, 4 or 5 Free Spins symbols, regardless of their position, then you will be awarded 8, 10 and 12 Free Spins respectively. Whilst in Free Spin mode, winning combinations trigger from both sides where only the highest win per payline from both ways is paid out.
Free Spins may not be re-triggered whilst in Free Spin mode, and the Energy Burst feature may also not trigger at the same time as the Free Spin feature.
Energy Burst Feature
As soon as 3 similar symbols (Wild and Free Spin symbols excluded) appear on the 3rd reel, the Energy Burst feature is activated and Bonus Spins with 1 out of 3 bonus features (Exploding Wilds, Reel Clone or Wild Substitution) will be triggered at random. When the Energy Burst feature has been triggered, the Exploding Wild mechanic will substitute 2 or 3 randomly selected symbols on the display with Fixed Wild symbols. The other wilds that appear during this time do not remain fixed for the entirety of the remaining Free Spins.
Reel Clone Feature
After the Energy Burst feature has been triggered, 3 randomly selected reels are linked so that they always have the same symbol arrangement on the display. The linked reels remain the same for all the Bonus Spins.
